  "please wait to be seated" - but no one was there to seat us and when they did come we could sit where ever. Food arrived before drinks and cutlery, some things you could order at the table, some things had to be ordered at the bar, our receipt that we had to go pay in the bar only contained half our order, lots of free tables but still a line at the door because there was no seater. Normal, decent café food, nothing special, my cake was kind of rubbery. Waitress was about to offer my dad a free refill on his coffee, but reneged when she realised he had had a cappuccino and the waitresses kept stopping to talk to each other RIGHT at our table. Nice decor, but all in all a very chaotic experience and sub standard service.

  Had the cheese and ham platter. Buttery and cloudy with 2 types of sweet sides to go with it. Heavenly!! Had a perfect Caesar salad . Chicken was perfectly moist. Recommended the saft rhubarb. Not sweet and so refreshing. Went nicely with the meal. For desert we had cheesecake, tasted every layer and French lemon tart light and fluffy perfect sour sweet. Homey flavours in a classic setting.

  A local cafe /restaurant operated by a famous Danish baker, peaceful atmosphere with elegant and tasty cakes, very good quality, worthy to visit for a light lunch or afternoon tea.
